Drain – various models KP-CC-32 – how to choose the right one
KP-CC-32 is a drain made of grey polypropylene with a 1" thread and an ABS nut, carried as a group of models under a shared code. It collects water from the basin and directs it into the installation.
Moving from half an inch to an inch doubles the nominal connection diameter and clearly increases the margin for contamination. In units where product residue ends up in the basin, this matters more than the amount of water alone.
This size also connects well with typical plastic installation parts, because a one-inch thread is a common size in sanitary fittings.

Ask a questionCan the ABS nut be tightened with a spanner?
ABS is hard but more brittle than polypropylene, so excessive torque can split it. It is tightened by hand, to a clear resistance on the seal, and its tightness is checked after the first discharge.
How do you choose the spigot length?
You need to know the thickness of the basin base including insulation, and how much space is left under the unit for the nut and the further connection. Give us both dimensions and we will identify the right version under this code.
