Drain – various models KP-CC-50 – how to choose the right one
KP-CC-50 is a drain made of grey polypropylene with an ABS nut and an M50x2 thread, carried as a group of models under a shared designation. It works in the basins of refrigeration units.
The metric thread is the most important piece of information for this part number. A 2 mm pitch on a 50 mm diameter means the part will not screw into a socket prepared for one and a quarter inches or for two inches – even though dimensionally it falls exactly between them.
In practice this means one thing: before ordering a replacement, check on the old part whether the thread is imperial or metric. A mistake at this stage ends with a part that cannot be fitted.

Ask a questionWill M50x2 replace a 2-inch thread?
No. The diameters are similar, but the pitch and thread profile are different, so the connection cannot be screwed together. A separate model, KP-CC-63, is provided for the two-inch connection.
How do you identify a metric thread without callipers?
The simplest way is to try a known nut: a metric one will go on smoothly, an imperial one will bind after the first turn. If you have the old part, a photo of the thread with a ruler against the edge is usually also enough to confirm it.
