Drain – various models KP-CC-63 – how to choose the right one
KP-CC-63 is a drain made of grey polypropylene with a 2" thread and an ABS nut, offered in several models under one part number. It is the widest connection in the whole KP-CC family.
This size is used for appliances with a large evaporator surface, where a substantial amount of water appears in the basin at once after the defrost cycle. A narrow drain cannot keep up under these conditions and water rises in the chamber.
It is worth remembering the other side of the coin, though: a two-inch spigot requires a large hole in the base and considerable space under the unit, and when the basin is empty, air is drawn back from the installation through it more easily.

The manufacturer does not assign a specific model to this size, as it did for KP-CC-40. Selection therefore has to be based on the diameter of the further installation and confirmed before ordering.
Does a larger drain speed up emptying the basin?
Yes, provided the rest of the installation has a similar cross-section. If a narrowing follows the drain, the whole benefit of the wide connection disappears at the very first joint.
