KZ-D10-7300 is a lever drain with a 1 1/2 inch connection and a straight handle. Stainless steel covers the part in contact with the contents of the bowl, nickel-plated cast bronze the drain mechanics.
This division of materials makes sense in use. The visible part takes everything dishes are washed with: hot water, grease, degreasing agents. Stainless steel takes it without a trace, so the surface stays smooth and easy to wash clean.
When cleaning, remember that the mechanism works in the same water. Rinsing it out at the end of the shift removes deposits before they set into hard scale.

Grease itself does not destroy metal, but it builds up on the moving parts and over time makes the lever harder to work. Regular rinsing with warm water solves the problem.
Can the visible part be scrubbed?
Stainless steel takes cleaning with a brush and detergent. Steel wire wool is not advised, because the fibres left behind rust and stain the surface.
