Drain with an opening mechanism KZ-D50-4150 – how to choose the right one
KZ-D50-4150 is a two-inch drain with an opening mechanism in which the handle is angled in shape. The manufacturer states nickel-plated cast bronze and stainless steel.
The angle in the lever is not a matter of looks but of guiding the movement. The bend allows the handle to be brought out somewhere other than the axis of the mechanism itself, which is sometimes the only way to get around the frame of the station or a neighbouring appliance.
That is why, when replacing, an angled version is not swapped for a straight one without checking the cabinetry. The hole in the front panel is prepared for one particular run of the lever.

Can an angled version be swapped for a straight one?
Only after checking where the handle will come out. With a finished front panel the hole usually does not match the new run and the front has to be altered.
