KP-500 is a drain with a partial trap for refrigeration units: a body of white PVC and a rubber part in black. The manufacturer carries it both as a complete set and as separate components.
Being able to order individual parts matters in service work. It is mainly the rubber that wears, while the PVC body usually lasts longer – there is no reason to replace it together with a part that has hardened.
The rubber half-trap is easy to remove and rinse, which matters where water with product residue enters the drip tray.
