The DZ-L320C straw organiser in AISI-304 stainless steel is recessed into the worktop through a round Ø106 mm opening. The straws then stand in a recess rather than in a container taking up working space.
The difference against a free-standing straw holder is purely practical: there is nothing to knock over or push aside when wiping the surface. On counters that a cloth passes over often, that is the commonest reason for choosing the recessed version.
The manufacturer gives only the diameter of the opening, without the depth or the capacity. When planning the installation it is worth checking how much room is left underneath, because a drawer or a shelf may clash with the sleeve.

Can it be used to serve stirrers instead of straws?
Nothing rules it out, but the data sheet describes straws only. With shorter items it has to be checked whether they will disappear into the sleeve below the edge of the opening.
