KP-PLASTER3.0, sized 1250 × 110 × 20 mm, is a grey polycarbonate honeycomb strip with Ø3.0 mm holes. It straightens the curtain airstream in refrigeration equipment and operates in the range -40°C / +110°C.
The format has practical significance here. At a width of one hundred and ten millimetres, the element fits into the gap whole, without cutting lengthwise – only the length needs to be trimmed to fit the recess.
A three-millimetre hole at a depth of twenty millimetres gives slender channels with a large number of partitions. This is the arrangement that straightens the airstream most strongly in the whole group, at the cost of greater flow resistance.

It has the same thickness and the same hole diameter, but is shorter and almost twice as wide. The choice is decided by the geometry of the gap: 60 mm is an insert for a narrow rail, 110 mm fits a typical air supply duct in a display case.
Don't three-millimetre holes clog up faster?
In the curtain airstream there is nothing to catch besides dust, but with a fine grid the build-up shows earlier than on Ø6.0 mm. That's an argument for checking the insert during periodic cleaning of the equipment.
