KP-PLASTER6.0P is a clear honeycomb panel, 1250 × 500 × 25 mm, with Ø6.0 mm holes, made of polycarbonate resistant to temperatures from -40°C to +110°C.
Twenty-five millimetres is an intermediate value you won't find in any other item – the other sheets are either 20 or 30 mm. So when reproducing an insert in equipment designed for this dimension, there is no substitute of a similar depth.
A large hole in a clear material gives the effect usually wanted in a display: the grid is only visible up close, while the airstream is still guided through the full twenty-five millimetres of the channel.

Physically it will fit, but it will sit looser in the seat and will shorten the airstream-guiding section by a fifth. For a modernisation, it's better to stick to the dimension the duct was designed for.
What's the difference between the P version and the regular one?
The letter at the end of the code denotes a clear material. The grey equivalent is KP-PLASTER6.2, though available in different sheet formats.
