In brief
Prices and stock levels are in the B2B shop. When fitting out a whole back-of-house we quote the complete set.
A GN 1/3 container 150 mm high holds 5.7 l over a 325 × 176 mm surface area. This depth brings a single container's capacity close to the daily production of sauce or soup in a small kitchen, while taking up only a third of a rack level.
At nearly six litres, the container stops being handy for display and becomes practical for internal circulation: prepare, cover, put in the cold room, transfer to the station the next day. The whole cycle happens without decanting the product into a pot.
A base 15 cm deep means the contents are stirred with a ladle, not a spoon. For convenience, it's worth filling to three-quarters of the height – the rest is kept as a margin against splashing when carrying.
What the GN sizes mean and how to choose the depth – we explained it in the selection guide for this category.

FAQ
Have not found your answer? Give the GN size and the intended use – we will select the containers.
Ask a questionA 15 cm layer cools too slowly for this to be a good method. Soup is poured into shallow containers, and once cooled, decanted into a single deep one for storage.
Nearly six kilograms of contents alone, for a product with a density close to water. When taking it off a high shelf, it's better to grip it with both hands by the shorter sides.
The KZ-GNP13 lid fits over the rim and protects against splashing, but it isn't a sealed closure. A container with liquid shouldn't be tilted or laid on its side.
