Gastronorm container 325x176x20 mm (stainless steel) KZ-GN1302 – how to choose the right one

KZ-GN1302 is a GN 1/3 container with a base of 325 × 176 mm and a height of just 20 mm, holding 0.7 l. A steel tray within the gastronorm grid, it serves less for storage and more for keeping ingredients within reach during work.

Twenty millimetres is the depth of a single layer. Lemon slices, herb leaves, ready-made garnishes or portions of butter sit here side by side rather than on top of each other, so every piece is visible and can be picked up individually without moving the rest.

The same 325 × 176 mm outline occurs throughout the family, so the shallow container fits exactly the same slot in a rack or display case as its deeper counterparts. Swapping one for another does not force the neighbours to be rearranged.

What the GN sizes mean and how to choose the depth – we explained it in the selection guide for this category.

Where it works

  • Mise en place at a cold station: herbs, zests, garnishes
  • Display of toppings in a refrigerated case in a single layer
  • Portioned items picked up individually during service
  • A base for product laid out in rows, where it must not slide

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Have not found your answer? Give the GN size and the intended use – we will select the containers.

Ask a question
Is 0.7 l enough for a whole service?

It depends on the product, but this format is designed for topping up during work, not for a single fill. A shallow container is meant to be replaced often, since this keeps the top layer looking fresh at all times.

Is a container like this suitable for an oven?

The steel will handle it, but at a height of 20 mm there is no margin for spillage, sauce or fat overflows the rim at the first tilt of the tray. For baking it is better to reach for the 40 or 65 mm version.

How is a lid chosen for such a shallow container?

The lid rests on the rim, so it is matched to the GN 1/3 format, not to the wall height. The same lid works with every depth within this outline.
