Gastronorm container 325x176x200 mm (stainless steel) KZ-GN1320 S – how to choose the right one
The KZ-GN1320 S gastronorm container has a GN 1/3 format, a base of 325 × 176 mm, a depth of 200 mm and a capacity of 7.7 l. It is the same steel shape as the version without the letter S, the tallest profile this one-third of the GN grid offers.
Deep containers tend to sit unopened in the kitchen the longest, which is why labelling discipline pays off most for this size. A date and contents on tape stuck to the shorter side stay visible when containers stand in a row one behind another and their contents cannot be seen from above.
Empty containers in this family nest inside one another, but a stack of several pieces 200 mm high quickly grows beyond comfortable reach. It is more practical to split such a stack into two lower ones than to take the top pieces down from a shelf overhead.

The dimensions, GN format, depth and capacity are the same in both data sheets. The designation refers to a version within the same series, not to a different geometry of the container.
How many such containers fit on one GN 1/1 shelf?
Three, because that is how the grid is divided: three one-thirds fill the area of a full module with no gap.
Can deep containers be washed together with shallow ones?
Yes, but in the dishwasher basket it is worth standing them at an angle. Stood upright they collect water at the bottom and come out wet, which passes moisture on to the next containers in the stack.
