Gastronorm container 354x325x100 mm (AISI-304) KZ-GN2310 – how to choose the right one

KZ-GN2310 is a GN 2/3 container measuring 354 × 325 mm and 100 mm high, holding 9.0 l. The two-thirds format is a less common but very practical division: it takes up most of the module, leaving room alongside for a one-third.

This layout allows a serving counter to be built with one main item and one side dish in the same module, instead of dividing the space equally. In a menu where one dish sells twice as well as the rest, this split reflects reality better than two identical halves.

Nine litres in a 100 mm layer is a lot of product on a large base – the dish runs out more slowly, and it can still be scooped out with a ladle without tilting the container.

What the GN sizes mean and how to choose the depth – we explained it in the selection guide for this category.

Where it works

  • Serving counters where one item dominates over the rest
  • Stewed dishes prepared and served from the same container
  • Canteens and catering kitchens with high volume
  • Pairing with a GN 1/3 insert in one bain-marie module

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Have not found your answer? Give the GN size and the intended use – we will select the containers.

Ask a question
What does the GN 2/3 format offer instead of GN 1/2?

A larger volume while occupying the same module width, and the option of adding a GN 1/3 insert alongside it. A two-thirds plus one-third split fits a menu with an uneven sales distribution better.

Will every bain-marie accept a GN 2/3 insert?

Bain-marie openings are designed for the GN module, so geometrically yes, but the layout of dividing bars can vary. Before buying, it's worth measuring the opening's actual clearance.

How many portions does 9.0 l hold?

For a typical one-pot dish portion measured in hundreds of millilitres, that's several dozen servings. The exact figure depends on the portion weight set by the kitchen.
