Gastronorm container 530x325x150 mm (polypropylene) KZ-GNP1115 – how to choose the right one
GN 1/1 at a depth of 150 mm is a container for 21.0 l with a 530 × 325 mm footprint. At this capacity, the container stops being carried by hand and starts being moved on wheels – it works as a trolley module or a fixed part of a cold room rack's load.
Twenty-one litres is canteen and catering production scale: one batch of brine, one load of marinated meat, one day's production of an ingredient for several hundred portions. All in one container, with one date on the label.
The weight of a full container exceeds twenty kilograms, so it's filled at its destination, not before being moved. When transporting it on a trolley, it's worth making sure the heaviest containers travel on the lower levels.

Ask a questionIs the container filled before or after being placed on the rack?
After placing it, whenever the work organisation allows. Carrying more than twenty kilograms in a container without handles is awkward and risks spilling the contents.
Will this quantity of product cool in the cold room?
A 15 cm layer in a plastic container cools very slowly, so the cold room isn't the right tool for this. It's cooled in batches in shallow containers, and this one stores the product once it's already cold.
Which lid fits a full module?
KZ-GNP11 in polypropylene, or the transparent KZ-GNT11 in polycarbonate. Both fit a 530 × 325 mm rim, regardless of the container's depth.
