DZ-P1-2432T is a transparent PVC cover of 400 mm diameter, matched to plate dispensers in the DZ-2432 series.
Four hundred millimetres is seventy-five more than on the covers of the smaller series – a difference clear enough that a mistake in ordering shows up the moment the part is unpacked. It is worth checking which series the unit belongs to.
The transparent version makes most sense with large plates, because their stack goes down faster by a number visible to the naked eye. With the dining room full, checking by eye saves one walk over per hour.

The series of the dispenser settles it: 325 or 345 mm for the DZ-1826 and 400 mm for the DZ-2432. The diameter of the plates has no direct bearing here.
Is the cover essential for the dispenser to work?
The construction works without it, but the stack is left exposed. In heated builds the absence of a cover also means the top plates lose heat faster.
