KZ-GNS19 is a silicone lid for a GN 1/9 Gastronorm container measuring 176 × 108 mm, made of MVQ silicone rubber. A flexible closure for the smallest Gastronorm field.
The difference compared with the steel lid is noticeable from first use. The silicone can be stretched over the rim, so it stays on the container even when it's tilted or moved on a trolley over an uneven floor.
Flexibility matters especially in the cold room. The tight-fitting edge reduces air exchange above the product, so side items and sauces dry out more slowly and transfer odours to neighbouring containers less.
