KZ-GNC14 is a lid for a gastronorm container in the GN 1/4 size, measuring 265 × 162 mm, made of stainless steel. It closes containers of this field regardless of their wall height.
The 1/4 format works well where 1/6 is already too small and 1/3 takes up too much of the line. Its lid is mostly needed outside service, when moving and storing the contents, since during service the container stands open.
The longer side is 265 mm, so the lid is put on in a single movement, gripping it by the middle. It is a small thing, but with several dozen repetitions a day, the difference shows in the pace of work.

No. A 1/3 field measures 325 × 176 mm and requires its own lid, GN sizes are not interchangeable with each other.
How can you check whether a lid fits the container you have?
It is enough to compare the GN designation and the footprint dimensions given in millimetres. For this size it will always be 265 × 162 mm.
Will the lid stay in place during transport?
It rests on the rim and is not clamped down, so it can shift with a sudden movement. For transporting liquids, a silicone closure tends to be more convenient.
