KZ-GNC23 is a steel lid for a Gastronorm container in the GN 2/3 size, measuring 354 × 325 mm. The 2/3 format takes up two-thirds of the length of a full field and accepts the lid regardless of the container's wall height.
This size solves a situation where one menu item sells much faster than another. Instead of dividing the well in half, the first item is given two-thirds of the field, and the rest is closed off with a 1/3 container – together they fill it to the millimetre.
The lid is the only way to close a setup like this without transferring the contents. A 2/3 container has no equivalent in another format, so it's covered with its own size or not at all.
