KZ-GNC24 is a steel lid for a GN 2/4 Gastronorm container, measuring 530 × 162 mm. It closes narrow containers of this format, from the shallowest versions to the deepest, regardless of the container's own material.
The narrow, long shape changes how the lid is fitted. A sheet with a 530 × 162 mm footprint isn't grabbed by a corner, but by both short sides at once – otherwise, when fitting it, one end drops first and slides off the rim.
The 2/4 format usually works in pairs in one well, so lids are usually ordered in pairs too. Closing just one of the containers makes sense when one menu item is waiting and the other is currently being served.

How do you fit such an elongated lid?
By holding it by both short sides and lowering it parallel to the rim. Grabbing one corner causes the opposite end to slide off the container's edge.
Will a 2/4 lid replace a 1/2 lid?
No, even though both formats cover half of a 1/1 field. The footprints are completely different: 530 × 162 mm versus 325 × 265 mm.
