PU-327 is a black rigid PVC body profile, supplied in 2.20 m lengths. The fixed length determines how much material goes into one construction and where the joins fall.
At 2.20 m, the cutting plan looks different than with six-metre profiles. One length usually yields two shorter sides or one tall side, and the offcuts are long enough that it's worth assigning them to specific components rather than treating them as waste.
The black colour means the profile is visible on the finished unit. In installations with dark cladding, that's an advantage; with light fronts, it's a reason to ask about a different colour.

How do you calculate the requirement?
Add up the lengths of all the sides, then check how many of them fit within a 2.20 m length without unusable offcuts. This second step usually changes the result by a few pieces.
Can the black profile be painted?
It's simpler to order the profile in the target colour than to paint the finished extrusions. The colour runs through the plastic, so any scratch to the paint will reveal the black underneath.
