Profile – PU-756 + PU-757 – how to choose the right one
PU-756 and PU-757 are a grey set of rigid PVC body profiles, with two channels for a heating cable and a slot for a magnetic insert. The two channels give freedom in distributing power along the frame.
Large frames – such as those in glazed display cases and double-leaf cabinets – don't heat evenly. The hinge side works under different conditions than the lock side, and with a single cable, the difference is only evened out by a power margin over the whole length. Two lengths of cable allow extra heat to be added exactly where it's actually needed.
Splitting the circuits is also sometimes a servicing decision: damage to one cable then doesn't switch off heating for the whole frame, and the unit can keep running until the next service.

No, they don't. The profile provides two channels, and how the power is distributed remains a design decision – often one circuit serves the side most exposed to frost.
How does this profile differ from PU-226?
Both have two heating channels and a magnetic slot, but the cross-section's geometry differs between them. The choice follows from the frame's construction, not from the number of channels.
Does the magnetic insert go in from the room side?
The slot's position follows from the specific profile's cross-section and is checked on the drawing. The gasket has to line up with the door's contact line, so it's this dimension that decides the installation orientation.
