Reflector for ceramic emitters KE-RCS1 – how to choose the right one
KE-RCS1 is a reflector for ceramic infrared emitters, made of mirror-finish stainless steel. The manufacturer intends it for emitters of the KE-ACS, KE-ACP and KE-ACH series.
The mirror finish sets this family apart from the other reflectors in the range – on the KE-IRZ-500C the description simply says stainless steel. A polished surface reflects the radiation instead of absorbing it, so less heat stays in the housing itself.

It is not a compulsory part – the emitter works without one as well. The manufacturer describes the reflector as a way of directing the radiation onto the object being heated, not as a part needed to put it into operation.
How do the KE-RCS1, KE-RCS2 and KE-RCS3 models differ?
The catalogue describes all three identically and gives no dimensions, so the difference cannot be read off the data sheet. When ordering it is worth indicating the model of emitter and the dimension of the field the reflector is to cover.
