Sliding door roller (polyamide/galvanised) KP-AC-1006 – how to choose the right one
KP-AC-1006 is a sliding door roller with two stated diameters – 22 mm and 34 mm. The wheel is polyamide, the housing galvanised.
Compared with the related item KP-AC-1005, only the part running in the track changes here: 22 instead of 18 millimetres. The outer 34 mm stays the same, so both models fit into the same space but require grooves of different widths.
A wider tread spreads the pressure over a larger contact area with the rail. With heavier leaves this translates into slower wear of the groove in the guide rail, which is sometimes more important than the durability of the roller itself.
