Sliding door roller (polyamide/galvanised) KP-AC-1001 – how to choose the right one
The KP-AC-1001 roller has a polyamide wheel 19 mm in diameter set in a galvanised housing. The manufacturer intends it for sliding doors.
Nineteen millimetres is a size for tight guide rails – those where the profile is shallow and a larger roller simply will not fit. A replacement therefore starts with measuring the gap, not with comparing codes.
A polyamide wheel rolls easily and does not corrode, but it crumbles faster than metal when sugar or crumbs build up in the guide rail. Wiping the rail regularly extends the life of the roller more than any choice of item number.

How can you tell that a roller needs replacing?
The leaf resists halfway along, moves with a crackling noise or drops slightly at one end. These are symptoms of a worn tread or a seized bearing, not of a problem with the guide rail.
