Roller Ø19 mm (polyamide/rubber O-ring) KP-AC-25-10 – how to choose the right one
The KP-AC-25-10 roller has a polyamide bush 19 mm in diameter and a rubber O-ring around its circumference. This is a different solution from the other rollers of this size, which run on the rail on plastic alone.
The flexible ring damps the running noise and evens out small irregularities in the track. The leaf slides more quietly and the roller reacts less to dirt, because the rubber deforms over a grain instead of bouncing on it.
The price of this solution is a wearing part in the assembly. The O-ring hardens over time and loses its section, and the roller then starts to behave like an ordinary polyamide one – only a size smaller.

The manufacturer does not stock it as a separate item, so when it wears out the whole roller is replaced. This is worth allowing for when planning a service stock.
When should the version without an O-ring be chosen?
Where the track is at times wet or soiled with grease – the rubber then picks up a deposit and loses grip. In such conditions a simpler polyamide roller is more predictable.
