Roller (polyamide/stainless) KP-AC-2932 – how to choose the right one
Roller KP-AC-2932 has a polyamide wheel and a stainless steel body, and the manufacturer gives two diameters for it – 29 and 30 mm. Among rollers of this size, this pairing of materials is the best prepared for wet conditions.
A stainless body solves a problem that galvanising cannot: there is no coating here to wear away at the point of greatest friction. The plastic tread adds quiet running and spares the slide.
The two stated diameters mean that the roller is not a simple cylinder. When ordering you therefore have to check not only the width of the groove, but also the space above it that will accommodate the larger part of the component.

Does a stainless body increase the weight of the roller?
The difference against galvanised steel is small and on a sliding leaf it has no practical significance. What decides is resistance to moisture, not the weight of the part.
