Overflow pipe Ø40 mm (L=280 mm) KZ-Z-280 – how to choose the right one
KZ-Z-280 is a Ø40 mm overflow pipe 280 mm long in AISI-304 stainless steel. It suits bowls around 300 mm deep, used where larger vessels and baking trays are washed.
A deeper bowl fills for longer, but also more dangerously: with the tap running it is easy to forget about it, because the level rises more slowly than in a shallow sink. The overflow then takes over the watching that nobody does during a shift.
The component works vertically, partly submerged in water with detergent. The AISI-304 grade was chosen precisely for that regime, in which the surface is wet for most of the working day.

It will work mechanically, but the overflow will act sooner and limit the usable capacity. The point of choosing a deep bowl is precisely to make use of its volume.
How often does the component have to be removed?
Usually during periodic cleaning of the drainage run, so less often than washing the bowl itself. Deposits collect mainly at the base, where it sits in its seat.
Does the same pipe fit a sink from another manufacturer?
What decides is the diameter of the overflow seat and the depth of the bowl, not the brand of sink. If both dimensions match, the component goes in without alteration.
