KZ-Z-380 is a Ø40 mm overflow pipe 380 mm long in AISI-304 stainless steel, closing its series at the top. It is selected for the deepest bowls, in which boiling pans, trays and transport containers are washed.
At this height the component becomes slender and prone to being knocked by a pot being pushed in. It should seat firmly in its seat, and at every removal it is worth checking that the base has not been loosened.
Where several bowls of different depths work in one kitchen, it is a good idea to mark the pipes after removal. Once washed they all look identical, and a difference of 50 mm is invisible until the component sits crooked in its seat.

It will not go in, because it will bottom out in the seat or stand above the rim. The length is matched to the specific geometry of the bowl, not chosen with a margin upwards.
How can the variant be identified after removal?
The simplest way is to measure the component with a tape, because length is the only feature that differentiates the variants in the series. With several bowls in a kitchen, permanently marking the station helps.
Is a longer pipe more exposed to damage?
The risk of being knocked grows with height, especially when large vessels are pushed in. The steel itself is durable; what needs watching is the firm seating of the base.
