The KZ-TI-180 overflow pipe has a diameter of Ø48 mm and a length of 195 mm, and it is made of AISI-304 stainless steel. The number in the symbol is the nominal size of the series – the actual length is 15 mm greater and it is that figure which decides the selection.
The discrepancy between the designation and the actual dimension repeats throughout the KZ-TI series, so it is easy to make a mistake when ordering from a list of codes. It is safer to compare the measured value with the item description than with the symbol alone.

The actual length is 195 mm. The figure 180 in the symbol describes the nominal size in the manufacturer's series and should not be carried over directly to a measurement.
Is Ø48 mm interchangeable with Ø50 mm?
No. A difference of two millimetres is enough for the pipe either not to go into the seat or to sit with play. The diameter is read off the component being removed.
How can I check which series I have in my sink?
By measuring the outside diameter and the length of the pipe being removed. Putting the two figures together points unambiguously to the family and the variant.
