Overflow pipe Ø48 mm (L=295 mm) KZ-TI-280 – how to choose the right one
The KZ-TI-280 overflow pipe has a diameter of Ø48 mm and an actual length of 295 mm, in AISI-304 stainless steel. It is the upper limit of its series, intended for bowls around 300 mm deep.
If the bowl is deeper, further variants have to be sought in families of another diameter, because the Ø48 mm series does not go higher. When planning a new installation it is worth allowing for this at the stage of choosing the bowls.
The choice of diameter usually lies outside the user's decision: it is dictated by the hole made at the factory in the wall of the bowl. We have freedom only in the length, and that is the only parameter to be measured.

In the Ø48 mm diameter there is no longer variant, so the solution is sought among the Ø40, Ø50 or Ø51 mm families, provided the seat in the bowl allows it.
Can the diameter be chosen freely?
No – it is set by the overflow hole made in the wall of the bowl by the sink manufacturer. Only the length is left to choose.
Can a deformed pipe be straightened?
Thin-walled steel rarely returns to its original geometry after bending, and an unevenness at the base spoils the seating. In practice it is simpler to replace the component.
