Overflow pipe Ø50 mm (L=180 mm) KZ-180 – how to choose the right one
KZ-180 is a Ø50 mm overflow pipe 180 mm long in AISI-304 stainless steel. The variant lies close to the 165 mm version, so both items serve the same type of shallow bowl with a small difference in height.
Watch the designations: the number 180 also occurs in the Ø40 mm family as KZ-Z-180. The components differ by 10 mm in diameter and are not interchangeable, despite the identical length.
After this item the series jumps straight to 230 mm. If the measured value falls in between, we check whether another diameter, with a closer grid of lengths, would not be more suitable.

What decides is the diameter of the seat in the bowl: Ø50 mm here, Ø40 mm in KZ-Z-180. The length of both variants is identical, so the mistake is easy to make and costs one delivery.
How does it differ from the 165 mm version?
By fifteen millimetres of height, with the same diameter and material. The choice follows directly from the distance between the bottom of the bowl and the overflow hole.
What if I need 200 mm?
In this diameter that size does not exist – the next variant is 230 mm. It is then worth checking the Ø48 and Ø51 mm families, provided they fit the seat.
