Silicone heating cable, round, constant wattage (steel braid) – various models GK-SPCB – how to choose the right one
The GK-SPCB is a silicone constant wattage heating cable in a round version, protected by a steel braid. The output is selected within 10–60 W/m, the standard voltage is 230 V, and the cable works from -60°C to +200°C.
The steel braid is the only difference from the GK-SPCA and it changes not the thermal parameter but the conditions under which the cable can be safely laid. The metal layer over the insulation takes the abrasion that in the bare version would go straight into the silicone.
In practice this variant is reached for wherever the installation is taken off and refitted: in servicing, in plant rooms with sharp panel edges, in machines where the cable runs next to moving parts.

It does not. The 10–60 W/m range is identical to the braidless version, as are the supply voltage and the operating temperature window.
