Silicone heating cable, rectangular, constant wattage (steel braid) – various models GK-CPCB – how to choose the right one
The GK-CPCB combines two features: a flat cross-section that makes it lie well against a surface and a steel braid that protects the insulation. The output falls within 15–80 W/m on a 230 V supply, and the operating range extends from -60°C to +200°C.
This version is chosen when the shape of the cable alone is not enough. The flat profile lies well, but for that very reason it more often touches the sharp edges of the component it has been pressed against – the braid takes that contact.
Certification covers CE and UL, which sets both rectangular models apart from the round versions in the same series. For equipment prepared for export this is sometimes a criterion that comes before output per metre.

Only in its outer construction. Both have the same cross-section, the same 15–80 W/m output and the same certifications; the GK-CPCB additionally gets a steel braid.

For this version the GK-CPCBK is provided. It is worth adding it to the order straight away, because cable off a reel arrives with no termination made up.
