Trap KP-689 – how to choose the right one
The KP-689 is a grey polyethylene trap in which the ABS nut is welded to the body. It drains water from refrigeration units.
A welded joint has one clear advantage: it cannot be loosened or turned, so the most common source of a leak under the furniture is eliminated. In exchange, the part cannot be taken apart for cleaning.
This is a solution for hard-to-reach spots, where a secure joint matters and inspection comes down to flushing the system through anyway, without dismantling it.
