1000 W heating system (with a thermostat and power cord) GK-SSVA1-A – how to choose the right one
GK-SSVA1-A is a 1000 W heating system in which the heat is given off by a finned tubular heater. The version includes a thermostat with a 30/90°C range and a power cable about 1500 mm long.
The letter in the code indicates the type of heating element: the A series is a finned tubular heater, the N series – a heating wire. Otherwise both variants share the output, an air flow of 145 m³/h and an identical housing.
A finned tubular heater has an extended heat-transfer surface, so at the same air flow it is simply a different design from a wound wire. The manufacturer does not compare them by parameters, however, so the choice rests on service practice and not on the data sheet.

Does a finned heater heat more strongly than a wire?
The output of both versions is the same and amounts to one thousand watts, at an identical air flow. The data sheet points to no difference in performance, only in the construction of the heating element.
