Digital thermometer with a 2 m probe (-30/+110°C) CON-ROF-DIG – how to choose the right one
CON-ROF-DIG is a digital thermometer powered from the 230 V mains, with a 2000 mm NTC probe and a measuring range from -30 to +110°C. The panel measures 64 × 31 mm and fits a 58.4 × 25.7 mm cut-out.
The upper limit of the range is the most interesting point here. One hundred and ten degrees is no longer refrigeration but a hot water circuit or a chamber with a heater – so the same indicator will serve an appliance measured on both sides of the process.
The price for a stable supply is IP40. That rating protects against solid bodies but not against water, so the panel should go on a sheltered front rather than somewhere hosed down during cleaning.

Ask a questionWhy is the resolution given with a qualification?
The manufacturer wrote it as 0.1°C with reference to 100°C, but the entry in the data sheet is incomplete. If precision at the upper limit of the range matters, it is worth confirming before ordering.
How does it differ from the solar-powered model?
In the source of supply, in a range reaching +110°C instead of +99°C and in an IP40 rating instead of IP65. The probe is also 500 mm longer.
What ambient humidity is permissible?
The manufacturer gives a band from 20 to 85% relative humidity. That is a narrower range than in the solar version from the same family.
