Digital thermometer with a probe – various models CON-24 – how to choose the right one
CON-24 is a battery-powered digital thermometer with a 3000 mm NTC probe and a 48 × 28.5 mm panel. It comes in two variants: the white CON-24W with a -40/+70°C range and the black CON-24B with a -50/+70°C range.
Ten degrees of difference at the lower limit is not cosmetic. In deep freezing the white version will simply stop showing a value, so the colour of the housing ceases to be an aesthetic decision here.
The cut-outs are also worth comparing. The variants are separated by tenths of a millimetre, but when ordering a replacement for existing sheet metal it is exactly those fractions that decide whether the panel will settle onto the clips without play.

The manufacturer allows AG13 or LR44. It is the same size of button cell under two designations, so both will fit.
Do both variants measure with the same accuracy?
Yes, an accuracy of ±1°C and a resolution of 0.1°C are given jointly for both. What separates them is the lower limit of the range and the cut-out dimension.
