Thermometer with a capillary – various models CTR-RO – how to choose the right one
CTR-RO is a thermometer with a PVC-insulated capillary, fitted with snap-in clips in a 58 × 25.5 mm cut-out. The panel measures 62 × 29 mm, the capillary is 1500 mm as standard, and the housing is available in black and white.
The span of capillary lengths is the greatest asset here. From 300 mm to twelve metres is the difference between an indicator right beside the cold room and a reading brought outside the chamber, into the corridor, where nobody has to open the door to check the temperature.
The limitation is the housing material: resin takes a maximum of 60°C. The indicator should therefore not be placed above a heat source or on a surface washed with hot water.

It is enough to state the required value from the range 300 to 12000 mm. Beyond the standard 1500 mm it is an item made to order.
Which scale variant should be chosen?
A white graduation with a red and blue scale visually separates the positive range from the negative. The black version is neutral and suits fronts with a uniform appearance better.
Is 60°C the measuring range?
No, that is the maximum operating temperature of the housing. The range of indication depends on the model chosen from the CTR-RO family.
