Thermostat with a capillary – various models CTT-C70 – how to choose the right one
CTT-C70 is a thermostat with a 1500 mm capillary, available in two contact ratings: C-1 at 15 (3) A 400 VAC and C-2 at 2.5 (0.6) A 400 VAC. Connection is made with a 6.3 × 0.8 mm faston terminal.
The choice between C-1 and C-2 is a sixfold difference in current on a resistive load and more than fourfold on an inductive one. The stronger version will drive a load directly, the weaker is intended for controlling a coil.
A hysteresis of 3/4 ± 2°C defines the gap between switching on and switching off. The narrower the band, the more frequent the cycles, and with a compressor the number of starts per hour translates directly into its service life.

The first figure is the current on a resistive load, the second on an inductive, that is a motor load. A fan and a compressor count according to that second value.
Does the knob change anything besides the colour?
No, the white and the black differ only in appearance. The electrical parameters and the hysteresis remain identical.
