Waste chute (stainless steel) DZ-OPNK – how to choose the right one
The DZ-OPNK waste chute is a flange in acid-resistant AISI-304 steel set into a 162 × 174 mm cut-out. It leads waste from the worktop straight into a bin placed underneath.
The proportions of the opening are almost square here, so the part takes both scraps scraped off a plate and individual packages. In a dish-return line it is usually the first point after the tray has been set down.
Of all five waste chutes only this one is described as acid-resistant. In practice this means the surface behaves more calmly on contact with sauces and citrus, which can sit on the flange until the end of the shift.

162 mm by 174 mm. That is the dimension of the opening itself – the flange laps onto the board and covers the cut edge, but there is little margin for error, so the template is best traced from the finished part.
How does this waste chute differ from the DZ-OPNK2?
Their width is identical, 174 mm. What differs is the height of the opening: 162 mm here and 146 mm in the version with the two. When replacing an old part that is the only dimension needing checking.
Is there a maximum worktop thickness in the data sheet?
It is not in the manufacturer's data. With boards thicker than the typical 38 mm, or with a double laminate, it is worth confirming before ordering.
