Waste chute (stainless steel) DZ-OPNKZ – how to choose the right one
The DZ-OPNKZ is a basket waste chute in AISI-304 stainless steel for a 183 × 166 mm mounting opening. Here the height of the cut-out exceeds its width.
The proportion matters when planning the board in depth. An opening elongated perpendicular to the edge of the counter takes space where the tray usually stands – which is why on narrow lines this model comes off worse than versions with the proportions reversed.

Measure the opening and look for a model with an equal or larger dimension, because the flange has to cover the edge. The differences here can be of a dozen or so millimetres, so measuring to the nearest centimetre is not enough.
