Waste chute (stainless steel) DZ-OPNKZ – how to choose the right one
DZ-OPNKZ is a waste chute in AISI-304 stainless steel for a mounting opening of 183 × 166 mm. It is the only item in this group in which the height of the cut-out exceeds its width.
The proportion matters when planning the board in depth. An opening elongated perpendicular to the edge of the counter takes space where the tray usually stands – which is why on narrow lines this model comes off worse than versions with the proportions reversed.
Beyond the cut-out dimension and the material the manufacturer does not describe this item any further. The letter in the designation suggests a variation in construction, but data that would confirm it is not in the data sheet.

Measure the opening and look for a model with an equal or larger dimension, because the flange has to cover the edge. The differences here can be of a dozen or so millimetres, so measuring to the nearest centimetre is not enough.
How do the OPNK, OPNKZ and OPNKZD designations differ?
In the dimension of the opening: 162 × 174, 183 × 166 and 193 × 346 mm. The catalogue data sheets describe no other differences, although the divergence of the part numbers points to them.
