Shelf support (stainless steel) KP-D-2 – how to choose the right one
The KP-D-2 shelf bracket is a stainless part made of AISI-304 that clips into the KP-E-I rail and forms a support for a shelf. The whole level takes on the load from the shelf and passes it to the rail fixed to the wall.
When choosing, the reach of the bracket and the depth of the shelf matter. A bracket shorter than the shelf leaves the front bar unsupported, and then the wire bends under the load right at the spot where staff most often set goods down.
The data sheets for KP-D-2 and KP-F-2 state the same material and the same rail, so the parameters do not tell them apart. The difference lies in the shape, which is why, when ordering for an existing installation, the safest approach is a photo of the fitted bracket.

Ask a questionHow does KP-D-2 differ from KP-F-2?
Both are made of AISI-304 and fit the KP-E-I rail, so it is the shape of the bracket itself that decides. A photo, or a stated depth of the shelf that needs supporting, helps with the choice.
How many brackets are needed per shelf?
A minimum of four, two on each side. For a wide shelf, another vertical is added in the middle, so the wire does not bend between the supports.
Can a bracket be moved without taking the shelf off?
No. A loaded bracket will not release from the rail, and trying to pry it out with the shelf still on top ends with the notch bending.
