Shelf support (stainless steel) KP-D-2 – how to choose the right one
The KP-D-2 shelf bracket is a stainless part made of AISI-304 that clips into the KP-E-I rail and forms a support for a shelf. The whole level takes on the load from the shelf and passes it to the rail fixed to the wall.
When choosing, the reach of the bracket and the depth of the shelf matter. A bracket shorter than the shelf leaves the front bar unsupported, and then the wire bends under the load right at the spot where staff most often set goods down.
The KP-D-2 and KP-F-2 share the same material and work with the same rail, but differ in shape. That is why, when ordering for an existing installation, the safest approach is a photo of the fitted bracket.

Both are made of AISI-304 and fit the KP-E-I rail, so it is the shape of the bracket itself that decides. A photo, or a stated depth of the shelf that needs supporting, helps with the choice.
How many brackets are needed per shelf?
The number of brackets depends on the width and load of the shelf. For a wide shelf, add extra support in the middle so the wire does not sag between supports.
Can a bracket be moved without taking the shelf off?
It is safer to remove the shelf first. A loaded bracket should not be unhooked from the rail, as the hook can easily bend.
