Shelf support KP-HP black – how to choose the right one
The KP-HP bracket in black is a polyamide part supporting a shelf, chosen for units with a dark interior. In a display case with a black housing, fittings in this colour do not catch the eye and do not break up the line of the display.
Dark interiors have become standard in drinks display cases and beer fridges, since colourful packaging stands out more strongly against a black background than a white one. A bracket in the same colour completes this effect, a light-coloured part in the field of view would draw attention to itself.
When ordering, though, it is not the colour that decides but the weight of the goods. The plastic is there to avoid corroding and scratching the sheet metal, not to carry the heaviest part of the range.

Will black polyamide fade from the light in a display case?
The data sheet does not describe UV resistance. The bracket works inside the housing, under artificial lighting, so exposure to light is limited.
Can a single piece be bought separately?
Yes, brackets are ordered by the piece. When replacing one damaged one, it is worth taking a spare, since the others in the same shelving unit have been wearing for just as long.
