Lock (22 mm) KP-AC-1491 – how to choose the right one
The KP-AC-1491 lock has a size of 22 mm and a stainless steel housing. The manufacturer intended it for doors or drawers, like the other items in this family.
There is no intermediate size between 16 and 22 mm, so if the material falls in the middle of this range, the choice must be confirmed by measurement.
The whole family shares the same description of intended use, and is differentiated by size and housing material. Selection therefore comes down to two questions, not to comparing functions.
How to match the handle to the door thickness and settle the key system – we explained it in the selection guide for this category.
Where it works
- Fronts thicker than a typical furniture board
- Cabinets and drawers in back-of-house workshop units
- Doors where a shorter lock proved too shallow
- Standardising on a single size across the whole site
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Have not found your answer? Give the door thickness and the locking method – we will select the handle and the lock.
Ask a questionHow do you check which size from the family will be the right one?
The simplest approach is to measure the material at the fitting point and compare the result with the available sizes. The family covers five sizes – 15, 16, 22, 29 and 35 mm – so one of them usually comes close to what is needed.
Do the locks in this family share a common key?
If the keys are to be common to several units, this should be stated when ordering.
