Lock KP-AC-70171A – how to choose the right one
KP-AC-70171A is a quarter-turn lock with a silicone seal and a body in AISI-304 stainless steel, opened with a key from the A line. It is one of six numbers in this series.
The seal has a practical dimension during daily cleaning. Water running down the front stops at the ring instead of entering the mounting hole, so the inside of the lock stays dry for longer.
Silicone hardens over time and loses its seal. On units that are washed down intensively, it is worth including a check of the seal in periodic inspections.
