Lock KP-AC-70174A – how to choose the right one
KP-AC-70174A is a quarter-turn lock in AISI-304 stainless steel with a silicone o-ring, opened with a key from the A line. The catalogue data sheet contains no dimensional value for it at all.
The absence of dimensions is not an oversight on this one index – it applies to the whole 701xx series. By comparison, for the KP-AC-70000 locks the manufacturer did give a thickness range, so the difference in the level of detail is plain to see.
The practical conclusion for the buyer: on a new installation the size has to be settled with the supplier before ordering, and on a replacement you go by the part being removed. Ordering from a photograph is not enough in this series.
