Drain blanking cap KP-135 – how to choose the right one
The KP-135 is a white PVC blanking cap intended for the KP-001 drain used in refrigeration units. It closes the outlet without needing to disconnect anything under the furniture.
Rigid plastic behaves differently from rubber: it does not stretch, so it only holds in the correct socket, but it also does not harden over time or lose its grip after a few seasons.
The part is sometimes ordered separately as a spare too - the cap is what most often goes missing when moving a unit or during cleaning.

The manufacturer ties it solely to the KP-001. The KP-CC family has its own closure, the KP-CC-20Z, designed for a different stub size.
Will a capped drain stay watertight under pressure?
This concerns gravity drainage, where there is in practice no pressure. The part is meant to hold back standing water in the pan and odour from the installation, not act as a pressure plug.
