Push-in end cap for square tube – various models (grey/black) SR-ZK-TR – how to choose the right one
SR-ZK-TR is a press-fit end cap of polyethylene for square profiles, in black or grey. It goes into the open end of the profile as a press fit and requires neither glue nor any additional fixing during installation.
A closed profile does not collect dust, debris and water running down when the floor is washed. This matters wherever the floor is washed down: a profile open at the bottom can take in water and hold it inside for a very long time.
Polyethylene is a soft and resilient plastic, so the body can be pressed in by hand. The colour is matched to the structure – black disappears against dark frames, grey catches the eye less against galvanised profiles.

Ask a questionWhy close a profile at the bottom?
So that water, dust and fine dirt do not get inside, and so that the cut section stops being a sharp edge. An open profile collects all of that, and cleaning it from the inside is practically impossible.
How does polyethylene differ from polyamide?
In hardness. Polyethylene is softer and more resilient, which makes it easier to press in. Polyamide is harder and stands up to abrasion better, but does not yield so readily during fitting.
Are sizes outside the catalogue available?
Yes – besides the catalogue dimensions we handle individual orders. It is enough to give the outside dimension of the profile and the preferred colour.
