Push-in end cap for round tube – various models (grey/black) SR-ZO-TR – how to choose the right one
SR-ZO-TR is a press-fit end cap for round tubes and profiles. It is selected by the outside diameter, and the measurement has to be accurate – a round section leaves no reserve in any direction, unlike profiles with corners.
Closing a tube cuts off the path for water and dirt into its interior. A tube open at the bottom takes in water every time the floor is washed, and it evaporates from inside very slowly.
There is nothing to stop the same component being used to finish the upper end of a tube as well, for example in a frame or in a railing. The colour is then matched to the rest of the structure.

The outside one, measured right at the end of the tube. The inside diameter depends on the wall thickness and is not the deciding value when selecting this end cap.
Do the black and the grey versions differ in anything other than colour?
No, it is the same component in two colours of plastic. The choice is a matter of the look of the structure, not of technical properties.
