Bolt (stainless steel) ZT-CPI50 – how to choose the right one
ZT-CPI50 is a bolt in AISI-304 stainless steel with a spring. Locking consists in sliding the pin across, and the spring brings it back when you let go of the grip.
A bolt solves a different problem from a catch. The point is not for the leaf to catch by itself on closing, but for it to be possible to immobilise it deliberately. Hence the typical mounting locations: doors meant to stay shut for most of a shift, or conversely, held open.
The AISI-304 grade is chosen here for washing, not for looks. An uncoated surface does not chip, so after several months of contact with cleaning agents the fitting still looks the same.

A draw catch pulls the leaf onto the gasket and holds it under mechanical tension. A bolt presses nothing – it slides a pin into a hole and locks the leaf where it was left.
What is the spring in the bolt for?
It brings the pin back to its starting position once the grip is released. That way the bolt does not stop halfway and does not snag on the frame at the next closing.
